Gradient masks

It would be really useful to be able to create a mask using gradients.

For example, a rectangle with a linear gradient going from opacity 100% to 0% used as a mask on an image. This would result in the image going from fully opaque to transparent in a linear gradient.

Yes, I think this is necessary, similar to figma's masking feature
