Ability to pin page-selection dropdown open

I work a lot with pages, and some keyboards (laptop, smaller wireless etc) don't have page up and page down, for me, I spend a lot of time trying to switch between pages from the list at the top left, where I have to mouse-over and then wait for it to expand, and it is hard to see because it blends into the background of the list of objects beneath it.

It would be great to have the option to keep this list permanently open, and better distinguished visually from the object list beneath.
