Multiple object selection - improvements.

Selecting multiple objects using the shift key seems to work most times for me, it's sketchy though, but what doesn't work at all is when a bunch of objects are selected using the rectangle marquee (click and dragging an area with the mouse), then you want to remove one of the selected objects by shift clicking it - that doesn't work, unless you Ctrl + click the specific item in the Objects panel on the left of the screen.

Please allow us to add/remove more objects to the selection by shift clicking that object.
